Description
Macs released between 2009 and 2017 are stuck on increasingly ageing macOS versions because Apple no longer supports upgrading them to newer systems. This USB flash drive can help install macOS Sequoia on an unsupported Mac.
Find your Mac serial number
This OpenCore macOS Sequoia installer must be tailored to your Mac model’s particular hardware. Find out what model you have via the About This Mac window from the Apple menu in the top left-hand corner of your Mac screen. This will tell you the model, the year, the memory it has, its screen size if it has a built-in screen, and the serial number of your Mac.
To create your Sequoia installer, I only need that serial number. Thanks to this database, I can find everything else required. I will request your Mac serial number after receiving your order, so please copy & paste it from the About this Mac window so there is no confusion between similar letters and numbers!
If your Mac is one of the few that cannot install Sequoia, I will let you know, and you will be refunded.
Breathe new life into Macs no longer supported by Apple
Apple Macs are well-built and expensive computers that should last for years, and this upgrade allows you to have a better choice than settling for an increasingly obsolete system or shelling out for a new Mac. However, there are some caveats. Even if Apple supports an upgrade, it may go other than planned. The system upgrade offered here may also run into difficulties. It can’t be guaranteed, and I take no responsibility for any data loss or if you cannot use your Mac afterwards. If the installation fails, there are well-documented ways to restore your Mac and your data from a backup :-).
