Description
Tails is a portable operating system designed to guard against surveillance and censorship. This Live System runs directly from a USB and does not interact with the host computer’s hard disk unless configured to do so.
To use Tails, restart your computer and boot from the Tails USB disk instead of starting Windows, macOS, or Linux from the computer’s hard disk. Once booted, Tails utilizes the Tor network to protect your online privacy and help you evade censorship. It also guards against surveillance, advertising, and viruses, even if the computer is infected. Tails does not leave any trace on the computer when shut down.
Tails OS is suitable for anyone who values or requires privacy, security, and anonymity. Activists use Tails to conceal their identities, bypass censorship, and communicate securely. Journalists and their sources use Tails to publish sensitive information and access the Internet from risky locations. Domestic violence survivors also utilize Tails to evade surveillance at home. With Tails, you can temporarily convert your computer into a secure machine or safely use someone else’s computer.
Tails is a free operating system. You do not need a license, and you can download it for free from the Tails website. If you are unsure about creating the USB boot disk yourself, you can purchase one here from me. The latest version available at the time of your order will always be installed (currently version 6.7).
You can configure encrypted persistent storage on the USB disk to securely store your data between sessions. For this reason, I offer a choice of capacities.
