Your first thought when meeting with something problematic on your Mac or PC might be that it needs taking to your nearest Apple Store, or PC World. But perhaps all you need is some online tech support. Please consider calling me to see if I can assist you remotely with the minimum of fuss.
How online tech support works
It might be a problem on your Mac or PC. Or I could teach you how to work with an unfamiliar application. You contact me, and download the connection application. After following a few on-screen instructions, I will be able to see your screen just as you can. Hopefully, I can then help you as if I were actually there with you. Quit the application when we are done and I will no longer be able to connect to your computer.
You can request a more permanent arrangement, so that to make the connection all you need to do is call and let me know. And so I can help maintain your computer in tip-top condition. It is also useful if you only want tuition in small, bitesize lessons. I find this is very helpful for regular customers. It saves compiling a long list of queries and problems before getting in touch. I can solve a small problem early, before it starts to become a bigger one.
