Computer Password Reset Service
£60.00
Password reset to access a Mac or PC.
There are a number of methods that can be employed, some with no risk to your data, others that may erase previously stored passwords.
This service is offered on a no-fix, no-fee basis. See below.
Why you might need my help
A password reset to access a Mac or PC can get tricky. Whatever the reason you can no longer get into your computer, I can help you through what can become a labyrinth. Your computer login is probably just what you might think it is – a password that only works on your computer. In which case, there are ways to reset this. But your login may be tied to an online account. So to get access to your own computer, you must verify your account with Apple or Microsoft first. I can help you do this.
Internal disks that are encrypted add another twist to getting access to your Mac or PC. But you may have the keys without knowing it, through your Apple or Microsoft account! This is not something one can just hack. Encryption is intended to keep your data safe and keep the crooks or the FBI guessing for a very long time.
What I will do
I will help you use what information you do have to get back into your computer. Or at least, hopefully, gain access to your data. I cannot promise that I will succeed, but I have helped clients in this situation many times. Some blunter methods may result in successfully accessing your computer, but will cause your computer to forget some of the passwords that it has saved in the past. It can relearn these. Where they are passwords for online accounts, they can usually be reset.
Information I will need
Obviously, I may need you to dredge-up or recreate passwords for me to use. I will not record these, but I will encourage you to reset these passwords (again if necessary) once we have regained access to your Mac or PC.
Things to remember
This service requires booking in advance. This service clearly comes with a no-fix, no-fee guarantee, and if I do not succeed in helping you, I will issue a refund. However, I cannot be responsible for any possible loss of data, as there is always some risk in these situations.
